I'll begin here nonlinear with the girls to my right singing at the top of their sphere/mesmerized ears orbit like satellites drawn in like a neophyte who's just discovered paper and graphite/skip forward to the dude who stands behind shadows made of glass/here he comes, creeping up to the mic like Fantomas/I fathom his lyrical genius, the depths of his DEFness/and now, I wait on a half moon night for the next knell of broken cymbals and bright bells hammered from somewhere below hell, and I die only to find birth in a new measure/sole message transmitting: cool, cool, cool like a kind of blue/soul massage (sic) received; I feel lighter than feather knowing gravity only by the drool, drool, drool dripping from maw to Ma Earth/I gaze down from on high, yeah that's me, "movin', doin' it you know, like a-like a [nexus] machine" connected to celestial beings from a distant dream/now I'm back again within the skin I've grown akin to/among the myriad transients that seem to breathe ambiences without, and within 'you, and you, and you' I thought to me as my mind pilots my free-moving anatomy/beneath my Stetson hat, I smile wide as I realize I'm electrified by current sounds from all sides/this is Galactacat: a collective of guitarists, keys, bassist, saxophonists in threes, singers, rappers, et al, no hierarchies at all, bee's knees, everyone is One/and here, that loose drummer with the gangsta-lean, he raises his fist, a receptor to beam in one last astronomic measure just for fun; I've got two eyes, but I needn’t look to see what they've gifted me--a piece of that cosmic harmony.
